On our third day in town, we rented a car. The views were amazing, and the River Limay might have been our favorite.

  • After a 4-hour bus ride from Puerto Natales and a brief break for lunch, we hopped on another bus for a 28-hour drive to Bariloche. First row seats on level 2 offered us a panoramic view of the landscape. But, 28 hours is still a very long time.
  • We slept as much as we could.
  • And finally arrived in San Carlos de Bariloche, the lake country.
  • On our third day in town, we rented a car. The views were amazing, and the River Limay might have been our favorite.

  • Our trusty little Fiat! Driving in Bariloche was like navigating SF... except the drivers seemed to think there were 2 and a half lanes (when there were only 2)... and we were driving stick! =/
  • On our last morning, we decided we had to get back to the the Limay River.
  • Jessa caught two tiny trout, but Lekan got skunked!

  • The Cementerio de la Recoleta, where many of Argentina's rich and famous are buried. Apparently there's a saying in Argentina, "it costs much more to die than it does to live"
