  • Day 15. July 23, 2010. After a day of disasters, I finally got a slight break by the Bay Bridge.<br /> <br /> 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. 14mm. f/11. 1/250. ISO 100.
  • Day 18. July 26, 2010. The footbridge over the 101 near Oregon Expressway. I was out here one night a while back (to smash pumpkins) and noted to myself that this would be a great place for night photography. So here I am, months later, taking advantage of the full moon to get some night traffic shots.<br /> <br /> 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 16mm. f/4.0. 10s. ISO 100.
  • Day 40. August 17, 2010. The view from my window on the 16th floor of the W in midtown Atlanta, GA. This was taken about 10 minutes after sunset, just as the blue was starting to set in. I took quite a series of these that I could theoretically make an interesting time-lapse of the sunset, Phillip Bloom-style. Maybe next time I get the free time to learn how...<br /> <br /> EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 14mm, f/10. 20s. ISO 100.
  • Day 60. September 6, 2010. Even though I took plenty of shots of the standard DC sights, I promise to not bore everyone with my copies of those same cliched pictures. So, here is another location on the National Mall, but one that gets much less lens traffic. This is the concourse connecting the East and West wings of the National Gallery of Art. The giant matrix of lights on the walls are densely packed, almost like an LCD screen, and generate mesmerizing patterns as you move down the moving walkway. There was another lady taking shots at the other end. Neither of us had a tripod handy, so we had a good time brainstorming ways of improvising camera supports.<br /> <br /> EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 13mm f/9. 1/20. ISO 1000.
  • Day 64. September 10, 2010. A large bay of bay windows that a friend and I would later discover to be the dorms for Emerson College. Seriously, what other university can boast a view overlooking Boston Common? Oh, right. Suffolk University next door.<br /> <br /> EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8IS @ 54mm f/5.6. 1/200s. ISO 250.
